ScoMIS is pleased to announce that we have purchased a new software application that will enable truly driverless printing on the SIMS Terminal Server platform.
After an investigation involving updating the Remote Desktop Client and ScrewDrivers client, we have found that the following printers may require a “Printer Driver” update on the local computer.
The name of your printer on the Terminal Server will be constructed from parts of your printer name, your username and session id.

By Default the ScoMIS Driverless Printing will only create 2 Printers on the Terminal Server. This has been designed to help make more efficient use of Server resources.
The ScoMIS Terminal Server platform has 3 methods of being able to print. If you are a Server 2008 Customer you will be able to print using a Printer Driver, EasyPrint or Driverless Printing (ScrewDrivers).
