Assigning a teacher to two classes in different blocks (even different years) at the same time

On the Band screen, schedule a session for one block by clicking and dragging it from the left hand column of the screen and dropping it on the required period.  When the second block with the same teacher is then scheduled in the same way, the Displaced Units window will appear.  Check the  information and tick the Lock/Clash column in the Displaced Units window.

Alternatively, this can be arranged on the Block screen.

Teachers can be assigned using the right click and Edit function either on the Build or on the Pending Sessions.

If the blocks have already been scheduled, then the sessions affected in the second block will need to be unscheduled (make a note of any rooms allocated first using one of the Timetable printouts).

Then build the block

When the sessions are dragged and dropped on the timetable grid to re-schedule them, then the Displaced Units Window will appear.   Check the  information and tick the Lock/Clash column in the Displaced Units window.
