Duplicate and corrective items have been sent for teachers payroll.
Finance Services advice is as follows:-
There was a problem with the payroll upload to FINEST affecting teachers pay for August. This resulted in the data being posted twice and extracted to SecureNet twice. The corrective actions taken reversed out all entries and then reposted the data.
This means that there are multiple entries this month. There will be three debits and two credits however these will largely be invisible as automatic reconciliation will deal with the majority of entries leaving the correct ledger balances. However items remaining in suspense should be dealt with by deleting the two pairs of matching but opposite entries and dealing with any remaining items in the usual way.
