Adding adoption information for a student

This is the route to follow to update a student’s record to show that they are under adoptive care.

  1. First, go to: Tools > Statutory Return Tools > Update Post Looked After Arrangements.
  2. Select the student(s) who have gone into adoptive care and select `Add`.
  3. Update the `Post Looked After Arrangements` column to `Ceased to be looked after through Adoption` via the drop down list.
  4. Click `Update`.

The student’s record will now be updated and the information will appear on the next School Census.
