How to Uninstall Internet Explorer 10 to a Previous Version

**CAUTION: Be aware that it will revert it to the previous version that was installed on your system. If you have not had a previous version installed it will mean that your system will have no Internet Connectivity.**

 

  • Click “Start > Control Panel”

 

  • Select “Uninstall a Program”. (If you have this view got to step 5, otherwise go to the next step.)

  • Click the drop menu on the upper right hand corner of the window and select “Large Icons”.

  • Scroll down the page and select “Programs and Features”.

  • Once the “Programs and Features” window has appeared, select “View Installed Updates”. (Located on the left pane)

  • You can either scroll down to the “Microsoft Windows” section or type “Microsoft Internet Explorer 10” in the top right search box.

  • Highlight the program in the list and click “Uninstall”.

Follow the prompts and you will need to restart your computer before the changes are applied.

Make sure you save all of your work before restarting.

 

Once your workstation has restarted you will no longer have Internet Explorer 10 and a previous version will be visible. Now you will no longer have necessary pop-ups being blocked and will be able to download files and reports with ease.
