This release introduces the ability to create Pre-16 Studies Type setups with the option to include On Roll, Pre Admission, and Applicant students – just as available in Post-16 setups.
Dashboards – Student Data Quality: Contact Phone Validation aligned with CBDS Home > Student Data Quality Dashboard Contact Phone numbers are now more closely aligned to CBDS standards. Users can still save numbers with formatting issues (excluding special characters), but invalid entries will be flagged in both the Student Data Quality Dashboard and Student Details > Profile > Data Quality Panel.
wTimetable – Curriculum Plan: Updates to Complex Blocks Modules > wTimetable > Curriculum Plan This release enhances how classes are added to Complex Blocks and how other block types are transformed to Complex Blocks.
wTimetable – Visual Scheduling Indicators for Timetable Specifications Modules > wTimetable > Scheduling
Visual indicators have been added to the Scheduling page to help users more easily identify and manage sessions that break the following Timetable Specification rules:
  • Subject relationships
  • Subject on days – ‘Not Available’ rule only
wTimetable – Scheduling: New ‘Show Conflicts’ Toggle Modules > wTimetable > Scheduling

A new Show Conflicts toggle has been added to the Detailed / Year Group view, allowing users to quickly identify sessions and blocks with conflicts. When enabled, the following indicators appear:

  • Sessions
        • C – Active conflict (from the Active tab in the Conflicts popup).
        • AC – Accepted conflict (from the Accepted tab in the Conflicts popup).
  • Blocks
        • Block highlighting – Any block containing at least one session with an Active conflict is outlined with a red border across the entire block period.
wTimetable – New Simple View for Staff Side Panel Modules > wTimetable > Scheduling and Curriculum Plan
This release introduces a new Simple View option in the Staff side panel. For staff with more than one subject relationship, instead of showing a row per subject, Simple View displays one row per staff member.
Key updates:
  • A new Display dropdown has been added, containing:
        • A new Simple View
        • Detailed View (original view, set as default)
        • The existing Staff for all Year Groups toggle (always on in Simple View)
Census – England Workforce Census 2025 Modules > Census > School Workforce The 2025 School Workforce Census (SWF) is a statutory return for all schools in England. The census reference date is Thursday 6th November 2025, with data covering both snapshot and continuous periods as defined by the DfE.

This update ensures compliance with the statutory requirements by updating the XML generation, summary report, and validation logic in line with DfE specifications.

Dashboards – New SEN Dashboard Home > Dashboards > SEN Dashboard
We are pleased to introduce the first version of the new SEN Dashboard for schools in England, designed for on-roll students to improve the visibility and accessibility of SEN-related data. This release focuses on Headline FiguresSEN Charts (SEN by Ethnicity, SEN by Groups, and SEN by Year Group), and SEN Reviews.

Schools in Northern Ireland and Wales will be contacted individually to review and gather feedback on their regional dashboard requirements.

Exams – QAN Data Update Modules > Examinations > Manage Results We have updated the Qualification Accreditation Numbers (QANs) used within the system for schools in England. The existing QAN list in CUR_QAN was incomplete, and new codes needed to be added to maintain accuracy for curriculum planning and statutory reporting.
Census – Autumn Census Validation Files v1.1 and v1.2 Modules > Census > School

For schools in England, the Autumn Census Validation Files have been updated with v1.1 and v1.2, which applies the latest set of validations issued by the DfE to ensure schools can meet statutory return requirements from 2 October 2025. This update includes corrections to validation rules to help prevent errors when generating census files.
Exams – Updated Base Data Gradesets for 2025-26 (Version 2) Modules > Examination > Manage Base Data

The system has been updated with the latest JCQ Exam Codes Version 2.

The changes can be found in the JCQ > Exams Office > Entries web page under JCQ Format 14 Exam Codes 2025/26 Version 2.

Exams – Base Data URLs Update (Autumn 2025 & Summer 2026) Examination > Manage Base Data

The basedata URLs for upcoming exam series have been updated to ensure schools can download and manage the correct JCQ and awarding organisation data within the MIS.
