  • Reports > Examination > Results > Candidate Results by Class Report
  • Reports > Examination > Results > Results by Student

Curriculum – Improved Timetable Mapping Modules > Curriculum > Routines > Apply Timetable Model
When applying a timetable model, users will now be able to see the Period Display Name alongside the Period Name (found in Config > Curriculum > Period Structures) during mapping.

Key Changes:

  • To support accurate mapping, the period header will display Period Display Name (with Period Name in brackets), where previously it showed only the Period Name.
  • The system will now use Period Name as the primary identifier when matching periods between the applied period structure in the MIS and the TT modules. Now users will see Period Display Name from the dropdown lists.
Setup – Removal of ParentPay Integration Settings Page Config > Setup > ParentPay Integration Settings

The ParentPay Integration Settings page will be removed at the beginning of February as it is no longer supported.

To integrate with ParentPay, please ensure you are using the Third Party method.

MCAS – Absence Notifications Enhancements Modules > MyChildAtSchool > Administration > Absence Notifications

This release introduces enhancements to the Absence Notifications page to improve how absences are reviewed and recorded.

What’s New

  • In the Attendance Code dropdown, Authorised Absent subcodes are now available alongside the main Authorised Absent Attendance Codes, allowing absences to be accepted and fully coded in a single step. Attendance Codes without subcodes continue to display as usual, while codes with subcodes show the available subcodes instead of the main code.
  • When accepting an absence notification, you can also add an optional Attendance Mark Comment (up to 200 characters) to record additional information
MCAS – Absence Notification Reports

This release improves how absence confirmation messages are shared with contacts.

  • When a contact reports a child’s absence via MCAS, the confirmation message will now also be available in Messages within the MCAS parent portal.
  • Schools can now choose whether a confirmation email is sent or not, helping manage email volume and messaging credits.
Seating Plan – New UI Options Available In Old UI Areas Home > My Dashboard > Seating Plan The new Teacher Dashboard Seating Plan is now available in areas that still use the Old User Interface (UI). This brings the same modern seating plan experience already available in the New UI to more areas of the MIS. This applies to the Groups, Take Register and User Timetable pages.
Bromcom AI – Improved Navigation and Session Continuity
The Bromcom AI Support Bot has been enhanced to give you greater flexibility while working in the MIS.
  • You can now collapse and expand the bot to maximise screen space without interrupting your current conversation.
  • The bot can also be repositioned anywhere on your screen while in the expanded view. To return it to its original position, click the X, then select the Bot icon again to reopen it in the default location.
  • In addition, you can now navigate freely around the MIS – including clicking elsewhere on the screen or moving to another page – and the bot will reload with the same conversation, remaining in the same position on your screen. To ensure the conversation is retained, the bot script must fully load before navigating away.
Administration – SCR Management: New Drill Down Functionality Modules > Administration > HR & Performance Management > SCR Management The Single Central Record (SCR) is now interactive, allowing users to drill down and filter staff records by Staff Type and SCR Data Checks.
wTimetable – Scheduling: Visual Indicators and Rule amendment for Timetable Specifications Blocks On Days Default Rules Modules > wTimetable > Scheduling > Actions > Timetable Specifications Conflicts and visual indicators have been added to the Scheduling page to help users quickly identify and manage sessions that do not follow the Default Blocks on days rules. This release also includes two updates to the Balance across the cycle default rule.
wTimetable – Curriculum Plan: Auto Assign Room Logic Update Modules > wTimetable > Curriculum Plan > Actions > Auto Assign The Auto Assign logic for Room allocation (both ‘Room only’ and the Room component of ‘Staff and Room’) has been updated.

Behaviour – Update to Lunch Time Exclusions Students > Student Details > Behaviour > Exclusions > Add/Edit Exclusion
For schools in England, in line with DfE guidance, the Cancel Exclusion toggle has been removed when the Exclusion Type is set to Lunch Time.

This change applies going forward only. Any Lunch Time exclusions that were previously cancelled will remain cancelled and are not affected by this change.

Administration – Students: SEN Status & Category – Priority Handling and Validation Students > Student Details > Special Educational Needs > SEN Details > SEN Status & Category Enhancements have been made to the student’s SEN Status & Category tab within the SEN Details panel, allowing users to manually select priorities. Validation has been added to prevent overlapping priorities, and users can now view both historic and active records in a single location.
Census – Spring Census ‘Selected Time’ Calculation Update Modules > Census > School
For schools in England, the Spring School Census now automatically calculates the Selected Time based on the final digit of the school’s DfE number.
The Selected Time is calculated based on the last digit of DfE Number as below:
  • Last digit 0, 1, or 5: One hour after the start of morning school.
  • Last digit 2, 3, or 6: One hour before the end of morning school.
  • Last digit 4, 7, 8, or 9: One hour after the start of afternoon school.
Options – Manual Pattern Validation for Weighted Subjects Modules > Options > Timetable Patterns Manual patterns now follow the same validation rules as automatic patterns for weighted subjects, ensuring timetables do not contain duplicate or invalid class allocations.
