Key updates:
|
| Census – England Workforce Census 2025 | Modules > Census > School Workforce | The 2025 School Workforce Census (SWF) is a statutory return for all schools in England. The census reference date is Thursday 6th November 2025, with data covering both snapshot and continuous periods as defined by the DfE.
This update ensures compliance with the statutory requirements by updating the XML generation, summary report, and validation logic in line with DfE specifications. |
| Dashboards – New SEN Dashboard | Home > Dashboards > SEN Dashboard |
We are pleased to introduce the first version of the new SEN Dashboard for schools in England, designed for on-roll students to improve the visibility and accessibility of SEN-related data. This release focuses on Headline Figures, SEN Charts (SEN by Ethnicity, SEN by Groups, and SEN by Year Group), and SEN Reviews.
Schools in Northern Ireland and Wales will be contacted individually to review and gather feedback on their regional dashboard requirements. |
| Exams – QAN Data Update | Modules > Examinations > Manage Results | We have updated the Qualification Accreditation Numbers (QANs) used within the system for schools in England. The existing QAN list in CUR_QAN was incomplete, and new codes needed to be added to maintain accuracy for curriculum planning and statutory reporting. |
| Census – Autumn Census Validation Files v1.1 and v1.2 | Modules > Census > School
|
For schools in England, the Autumn Census Validation Files have been updated with v1.1 and v1.2, which applies the latest set of validations issued by the DfE to ensure schools can meet statutory return requirements from 2 October 2025. This update includes corrections to validation rules to help prevent errors when generating census files. |
| Exams – Updated Base Data Gradesets for 2025-26 (Version 2) | Modules > Examination > Manage Base Data |
The system has been updated with the latest JCQ Exam Codes Version 2. The changes can be found in the JCQ > Exams Office > Entries web page under JCQ Format 14 Exam Codes 2025/26 Version 2. |
| Exams – Base Data URLs Update (Autumn 2025 & Summer 2026) | Examination > Manage Base Data
|
The basedata URLs for upcoming exam series have been updated to ensure schools can download and manage the correct JCQ and awarding organisation data within the MIS. |
