Scomis Managed WiFi Services

Scomis install, configure and support many types of WiFi solution that fit different needs.  These are the managed WiFi systems that are in place:

  • UniFi Access points from Ubiquiti (new installations, support)
  • Meraki Access points from Cisco (new installations, support)
  • Meru Access points (new installations (possibly with RM, limited support)
  • Nortel Access points and controllers (no new installations, limited support)
  • Trapeze Access points (no new installations/ limited support through RM)
  • Other manufacturers (no new installations – support on an ad hoc/best endeavors basis)

Troubleshooting and support

Scomis have solutions installed at a number of schools in Devon.  Some will have active maintenance and others not.

  • UniFi Access points from Ubiquiti
  • Meraki Access points from Cisco (currently 2 x DCC Care Homes)
  • Meru Access points (possibly with RM, new installations)
  • Nortel Access points and controllers (no new installations, limited support)
  • Trapeze Access points (in conjunction with RM)
  • Other manufacturers (on an ad hoc/best endeavors basis)
