Vision: Refund Date Added to Online Payments A new Refund Date column has been added to the Online Payments OData feed and SQL replication. This is a datetime column.
School Workforce: XML Upgrade for Additional Allowances Modules > Census > School Workforce The XML file option has been improved to ensure that when an individual has a contract with multiple roles (for example as Class Teacher and SENCO) and receives an additional payment (such as SEN Allowance), this is recorded accurately for Census data.
Administration – Students: New Managed Move Section Students > Actions > Process Leaver(s) A Managed Move section has been created for schools in England to assist with processing applicable school leavers. This will be needed for the Autumn Census for leavers between 1st August 2026 and 30th September 2026.
Assessment – Updated EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Stage Assessment sheets for 2026 Modules > Assessment > Assessment Sheets List For schools in England, the EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Assessment sheets have been updated for 2026 to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. These updates include ensuring assessment sheets are available for 2026.
Seating Plan – Export Enhancement Groups > Tutor Groups

Teachers can now export all seating plans within a tutor group as PDFs.

Seating Plan: Right-Click Student Tile to Open Profile My Dashboard > Seating Plan Teachers can now access a profile panel for any student by right-clicking on the tile and selecting View Student Profile. This ensures users can access key information quickly and easily directly from the Seating Plan canvas.
Seating Plan: User Defined Flags Filter in Toolbar

My Dashboard > Seating Plan

A new UDF Filters icon has been added to the Seating Plan toolbar to allow users to find or select students based on User Defined Flag (UDF) data.
Options – Timetable Patterns: Enhancements to Set As Final Modules > Options > Timetable Patterns

The following enhancements have been made to the Timetable Patterns page to improve the Set as Final process. The Set as Final tag identifies which timetable pattern will be used when importing Options into wTimetable and ensures that the correct pattern is used when generating students’ final allocated subjects in the Options Quick Report.

  • Single Final Pattern per Year Group – The system now allows only one Final timetable pattern per year group per academic year.
  • Final Pattern Validation – When a user attempts to set a timetable pattern as final, the system will validate that no other Final pattern already exists for that year group within the same academic year. If a Final pattern is already present, the system will display a warning message. Selecting Proceed updates the Final pattern; selecting Cancel leaves everything unchanged.
Exams – Exam Seating Plans Report to display Colour-Coded Special Candidate Requirements Reports > Examination > Organisation > Exam Seating Plans

In the previous Examination release, we introduced colour‑coding for Special Candidate Requirements Exams – Colour-Code Special Candidate Requirements.

Config > Examination > Special Candidate Requirements
Config > Examination > Special Candidate Requirements

This release extends that functionality to the Exam Seating Plans report, allowing colour‑coded Special Candidate Requirements to be displayed directly within exported seating plans for improved visibility and planning.

Administration – Students: Improved Workflow for New Contact Process Students > Student Details > Profile > Contacts
This release introduces an improved workflow for creating new Contacts, designed to encourage users to link contacts to students rather than create unlinked or duplicate records. It simplifies linking students to existing matching contacts and provides clearer prompts when a contact is saved without being linked.
To help prevent unlinked or duplicate contacts, the new workflow:
  • Encourages proper duplicate checking by allowing users to link an existing matching contact to the student using the new Link Contact action.
  • Displays a confirmation popup if a user attempts to save without linking the contact, reducing the likelihood of unlinked or duplicate records being created.
Administration – New Teacher Timetable Configuration for Student App & Student Portal Config > Student Portal > Timetable A new Timetable configuration setting has been added to give schools control over whether teacher timetable information is shown in the Student App and Student Portal. Previously, this information was always visible by default; schools can now choose to hide it if preferred.
Options – Quick Reports: New ‘Final Allocated Subjects’ Reports > Quick Reports > Options

We have introduced a new data item, Final Allocated Subjects, which appears as a set of columns showing the choices assigned to each student in an Options Setup. These columns directly reflect the allocations displayed in the Pupil Review tab of Timetable Patterns.

These fields can be used in Web Merge to create accurate personalised Word or PDF documents that can then be published to students (via Student Portal) and parents (via MCAS).

Seating Plan: Two-Click Behaviour Enhancement My Dashboard > Seating Plan

Access to behaviour data has been improved for teachers using Seating Plan and users can now filter how behaviour points are displayed using a new Settings option.

What’s New

Left-clicking a student tile opens a sidebar with student photo, name, current behaviour score and a list of behaviour events.
