For schools in England, this update ensures that all reference dates, term dates, and eligibility windows for the 2026/2027 statutory returns are correctly implemented. This includes the Autumn 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 School Census, the School Workforce Census, Catholic Education Service (CES) Census, and SLASC, in line with DfE specifications. |

In England and Wales, Bromcom MIS has been updated with DfE KS4 and KS5 qualification grade points for the 2026/27 academic year, ensuring performance measures use current statutory values. Historical grade point data for previous years remains unchanged. What’s New The latest DfE points values have been applied to qualification grades included in performance calculations. Existing processes will automatically use the new grade point values for the 2026/27 academic year without any additional setup.

| Analysis – KS5 Cohort Definition Update | Modules > Analysis > Routines > Key Stage Cohort Definition

Schools in England and Wales can now define and manage Year 12 KS5 cohorts using the same functionality already available for Year 13, providing greater control over the students included in KS5 performance analysis. What’s New The Year Group selector on KS5 Cohort Definition now includes both Y12 and Y13 options. Disadvantaged indicators can be reviewed and managed for Year 12 cohorts using the existing Disadvantaged functionality.

| Setup – New Currently Logged On Users report | Config > Setup > System Logs | A new Currently Logged On Users report has been added to the System Logs page. This report provides a real-time view of users who are currently logged in to the MIS Cloud system for your school. |
