What are the consequences if I promote AFTER the start of the academic year?
We would strongly recommend schools to promote before the end of the current academic year.
This will ensure all class memberships will begin correctly at the start of the new term.
If promotion is done late:
- Memberships of new groups will not start at the correct date resulting in incomplete group membership.
- Attendance groups may not start at the beginning of term as required.
- It is not possible to backdate changes for the pastoral structure.
