Error running marksheets/reports after Spring Update (7.198) – Fix with Patch 26421

Capita have produced a fix for an issue that has appeared after upgrading to SIMS Spring update (7.198).

All Scomis Hosted Schools will have the patch 26421 applied as part of the SIMS 7.198 update process.

For all Locally Hosted Schools – patch 26421 will be made available via Solus and may be applied after running the SIMS 7.198 upgrade.

The fix clears an error which occurs after running the SIMS Spring Update 2021 (7.198).

This applies if the school has created a UDF with an apostrophe character in the Description.

The error below will show before SIMS closes down.

As stated above patch 26421 is available to fix this and is available through Solus for locally hosted schools.
