What does “Multiple” mean on an assessment template?
Multiple means that there are two teachers assigned to the class or reg group so that both teachers can enter marks in to that mark sheet.

I am trying to change some attendance marks but cannot overwrite what is already there.
It sounds like the marks have been preserved. There is a toggle button at the top of the screen within Edit Marks, click on this to switch between overwrite and preserve.
