Login Failed for MIS. Either the username of password given was incorrect or the user does not have the required access rights.

If user gets this error when trying to log into FMS and they are a Hosted school – please follow advice below to resolve the error.

 

Within SIMS please go to Focus > System Manager > Manage Users and search for the DataExport user   Set all filters to any.

Reset the password for this user and save the changes.

Log back into FMS and go to Tools > MIS Settings and paste the newly reset password into the user credentials area.
