Unable to access http://staff.devon.gov.uk web pages from a school

If  you are experiencing difficulty accessing internal DCC private pages e.g Model Policies or link to finance pages, follow the below instructions to enable access.

• Go to internet explorer
• Click ‘tools’ and then ‘Internet options’
• Select ‘connection tab’ and click ‘LAN settings’
• Check the proxy settings show either, proxy.swgfl.org.uk or proxy.schooldomainname and the port is 8080
• Go to ‘advanced’ and type *staff.devon.gov.uk into the exceptions box.
• Click ok and try the web page again.

Academy School’s Please Note: http://staff.devon.gov.uk pages are the Devon county Council intranet and as such are only accessible by maintained schools.  If you are working in an academy and think you need access to information previously available through these pages you need to contact the business unit within DCC directly.
