Deleting unlinked Persons from SIMS

Unlinked persons should be deleted from SIMS. This may be, pupils, employees, applicants, agents, contacts or other individuals whose historical data should no longer be retained in line with GDPR guidelines.

Go to Tools>Housekeeping>Delete unlinked persons

A list of unlinked persons recorded in SIMS should show

Select the check box at the top left hand column and highlight the unlinked persons records.

Click the Delete button

Click Yes to confirm

 

Please note- you should only be deleting unlinked persons in line with your schools GDPR policy
