Reconciliation error “an attempt was made to re-import the file”

The problem can happen if FMS crashed during the import or if the OK button was not clicked after the import or (rarely) if the box ‘Move files from …\IN to …\READ’ is not ticked under Tools>Automatic Reconciliation Setup>General Parameters

To resolve:-

• Find the name of the file ( in SIMS\Transfer\In)
• Open the file in Notepad to check the items have been reconciled
• Move the file to the SIMS\Transfer\Read folder
• In FMS>Focus>Central>Automatic Reconciliation choose Reprocess Unreconciled button to reconcile any items which were not processed due to the crash
