You are not authorised to view requested content error in Options Online

You or your users may experience an error logging in to Options Online for the first time that says ‘Sorry, but you are not authorised to view the requested content.’

This most likely due to a lack of permission to the Options module for the user account. By default, accounts that are created in the SIMS Product Admin website (https://admin.sims.co.uk/) will not have any Options permissions. These will need to be manually assigned for all user accounts and can be done so via Options > Permissions from the SIMS Product Admin console.

You will see a series of tick boxes on this screen that will allow you to assign relevant permission for the account by ticking the box. Parent is currently an option, however parent access is not available until early 2018.
