Every time I input a grade into a marksheet a box appears and it will not let me enter it.

The aspect used may have a grade set attached to it. This means that if you enter a grade that is not part of the grade set it will be invalid. The box that comes up is to show you which grades are valid and can be entered into the marksheet.
