Report output exceeds maximum width

Error: This exceeds the maximum width when running a report in SIMS.

 

Report error

 

This is because the report is running as a Word List Report. It would need to be changed to a Form Report (RTF)  output on the Define Presentations screen.

Ensure that Form Report (RTF) is selected. Sometimes it will show as selected in the Presentation select screen, but on closer inspection you’ll see that it is actually a Word List Report as shown below.

The best way to avoid this is to click on something other than the Form Report (RTF) then click back on to it. The screen below is the one you need to see.
