Sims ID for Parents – Can parents register for Sims ID?

This is not currently supported, but Capita are actively developing a system that allows SIMS Pay/ SIMS Parent to create new SIMS ID accounts for themselves at the point where they are accepting their invites.  For the time being, parents can use one of the third party account providers.

The following alternative may be of assistance:

Link up an existing email address (e.g. Yahoo, BT etc) to a Microsoft Account by doing the following:

1.       Go to signup.live.com

2.       Enter an existing email address such as example@yahoo.co.uk and define a password

3.       Follow the remaining steps to complete the account setup

Once the existing email address has been linked up to a Microsoft account it can be used to login on sims-parent.co.uk by selecting the Microsoft login option.
