All installation (hardware & software) requests will have to be requested via the Scomis Portal, this is for any type of installation that requires a Scomis technician to visit the school.
How to log an Installation request:
Please log onto the Scomis Portal selfserve.scomis.org. If you are a Hosted Application Service (Terminal Server) School the log in details are the same as your Sims Username & Password. If you are a Non hosted school and you do not know your Customer ID or Password please contact the Scomis Service Desk.
Once you are logged into the Portal go to My Services > Services I can Subscribe to > Scomis Services > Scomis Installation Service and click Subscribe.
Follow the Steps through giving as much detail as possible when asked.
At the end of the process you will be given a Scomis reference number, please keep this number in case you need to call Scomis.
You will then either be contacted by a Scomis technician (if they need more information or want to clarify requirements) or by the Scomis Service Desk to arrange a installation date and technician with you.
