‘You do not have permission to use the selected printer’ in hosted services

When attempting to print in SIMS an error message appears stating ‘You do not have permission to use the selected printer’.

Try completely removing and reinstalling Screwdrivers (Double check whether the school need x32 or x64 bit) After doing so, go to Help > Reset to default settings on the connector, however if the hosted site is using PS Financials this may not work due to the forced connection to a specific server.

To stop the error occurring the Infrastructure team must reset the Screwdrivers printing service on the hosted server.
