Windows 10 fails to connect to Scomis Hosted Applications (SIMS)

Problem: Windows 10 fails to connect to Scomis Hosted Applications (SIMS)

Error: RemoteApp Disconnected

You may receive the above error on Windows 10 machines after the Creators edition update.

Fix:

An addition to the registry is required, you will need to run regedit from the search bar, from there you need to go through to HKCU – Software – Windows – Terminal Services Client and add the following DWORD (32bit) Key – Name RDGClientTransport with a value of 1

You should then be able to connect to the remote server.
