Census error 9999 – Module is missing

This error is caused when an On-Roll  Student or a Leaver does not have any ethnicity and/or language data recorded.

In order to fix this error for On-Roll students you will need to go to the students record.

Focus | Student | Student details | 8 Ethnicity/Cultural.

  • Enter the students ethnicity and language data including Ethnicity, Ethnic data source, First language and First language source. Click Save
  • After doing this click on the history button. You will then need to back date the data to the students date of admission. This can be done by double clicking on the orange bars and changing the date. You will then need to save again.
  • Create & Validate your census.
  • The error should now be removed.

In order to fix this error for a Leaver  you will need to go to the students record.

Focus | Student | Student details

The first thing to do is note down the admission date of the pupil which can be found in panel 2 Registration. You will also need to note down the date of leaving, reason of leaving and destination after leaving.

  • After you have noted down all of the details you when need to remove all of the leaving details. After doing this you will need to save.
  • You then need to enter the students ethnicity and language data including Ethnicity, Ethnic data source, First language and First language source. You will then need to save again.
  • After doing this click on the history button in panel 8 Ethnic/Cultural. You will then need to back date the data to the students date of admission. This can be done by double clicking on the orange bars and changing the date. You will then need to save again.
  • The next step is to re-input the leaving details for the student and saving their record.
  • Create & Validate your census.
  • The error should now be removed.
