CLM.exe – Configuring the claims the Period

Academy schools have a different start of financial year than state schools.  Therefore when using the Claims application to generate a claim, the claim period will be wrong.

A new version of Claims is available that allows the period to be offset, correcting the financial year as appropriate.

You will need version 2.7.1.110 or higher of CLM.exe

If you have the required version of Claims, edit the DTSApps.INI file and add the following lines.

[FinancialYear]
StartMonth=9

Adjust the StartMonth as appropriate. e.g. 4 = April, 9 = September.

The 2018 release of Payroll 2 FMS features a Period Mapper which may provide better results than the Start Month method.
