How do I open the order book for the new year?
1. Go to Tools>Define Financial Year>Define/edit year
2. Highlight year required and click on pencil to edit then tick the box ‘order book open’ and save.

If you backdate a contract it will affect FMS. If you have reconciled against the old contract the advice is to not backdate unless you are happy to change FMS as well.
